October 2,\u00a0Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Belarusian Ambassador to Iran D\u017amitryj Kalco\u016d and Iranian Trade Promotion Organization head Mehdi Zeyghami have discussed the upcoming visit of Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber to Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dates of the visit have not been announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Tehran Times<\/em>, Kalco\u016d and Zeyghami also talked about setting up Iranian technological innovation centers in Belarus, issuing tourist visas to Iranians, exporting high-tech products, establishing a Belarusian tractor production line in Iran, and resuming direct flights between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides, they discussed preparations for the 16th meeting of the Belarusian-Iranian economic committee, scheduled for October 9-10 in Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mokhber’s office has some similarities with that of the Belarusian prime minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Trade Promotion Organization oversees the work of intergovernmental committees between Iran and other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 13, during Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka’s visit to Iran, a road map for comprehensive cooperation for 2023-2026 was signed. The document covers cooperation between Belarus and Iran in politics, economy, consular affairs, science and technology, education, culture, art, media and tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is expected to visit Belarus in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
