Over 250 people signed an open appeal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Professionals practicing individually and in law firms as well as lawyers stripped of their licenses for political reasons in 2020-2021, expressed their disagreement with the fact that &#8220;the territory of Belarus has become a bridgehead for Russian troops fighting in Ukraine and our country has been dragged into this conflict.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The authors of the appeal emphasize that Article 8 of the Constitution establishes the priority of universally recognized principles of international law, ensuring legislation compliance with its provisions.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t According to the authors of the appeal, the solution to any conflicts should occur not militarily, but solely by legal means.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t &#8220;We express our support for our Ukrainian colleagues who are now forced to defend their people and their families from war with or without weapons in their hands, rather than their clients&#8217; interests in court,&#8221; the statement said. &#8220;We express our support for the Ukrainian people defending their homeland.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 7, BPN.
