{"id":41621,"date":"2022-03-18T13:16:29","date_gmt":"2022-03-18T10:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/articles\/three-more-tut-by-employees-released-before-trial\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","slug":"three-more-tut-by-employees-released-before-trial","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/41621\/","title":{"rendered":"Three more tut.by employees released before trial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n <b>March 18, <span>BPN<\/span>.<\/b> On 17 March, three more former <span>tut.by<\/span> employees have been released on their own recognizance &#8212; Volha Lojka, editor-in-chief for political and economic news; Aliaksandr Dajneka, assistant general director for technical issues; and Andrej A\u016ddzeje\u016d, Publisher Box manager.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Maryja Novik, a former deputy chief accountant at Tut.by Media, Iryna Rybalka, assistant director general for corporate affairs, and An\u017eela Asad, chief accountant, were released on March 11.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t According to <span>Zerkalo.io<\/span> (ex-tut.by), the charges against the six journalists have not been dropped. They have been behind bars for almost 10 months.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Former TUT.BY CEO Liudmila \u010cekina, former editor-in-chief Maryna Zolatava, journalist Alena Ta\u016dka\u010dova, chief engineer Ala Lapatka, and TAM.BY project manager Darja Danilava remain in custody.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t On September 1, 2021, Siarhej Pavali\u0161a\u016d, director general of Hoster.by provider, a project of the deceased tut.by founder Juryj Zisser, was released on his own recognizance. On January 13, 2022, Julija \u010carnia\u016dskaja, Ziser&#8217;s widow, was freed from house arrest. Both remain under investigation.&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t In the morning of May 18, 2021, law enforcement officers raided apartments of company employees and tut.by offices in Minsk and regional centers, arresting 15 journalists.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t According to the State Control Committee, they were charged with large-scale tax evasion. Tut.by management was accused of allegedly generating revenue from activities not permitted for Hi-Tech Park residents.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The Belarusian Association of Journalists said that 27 Belarusian media workers remain behind bars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 18, BPN.
