{"id":4222,"date":"2023-09-11T13:41:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-11T10:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/?post_type=articles&#038;p=4222"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:40:57","slug":"minsk-accuses-polish-security-forces-of-shooting-warns-against-escalation","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/4222\/","title":{"rendered":"Minsk accuses Polish security forces of shooting, warns against escalation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>September 11,\u00a0<em>Pozirk<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong>Polish security forces used gunshots, tear gas and physical force to intimidate and bully refugees at the Polish-Belarusian border, the State Border Committee&#8217;s press office has said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The border control agency said it had witnessed several pushbacks by Polish soldiers who reportedly pointed their weapons at migrants and fired several shots over their heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Aggressive actions&#8221; involving shooting incidents &#8220;are occurring more frequently near the Belarusian territory,&#8221; the State Border Committee noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The use of weapons by foreign military officers at the shared border &#8220;creates extremely dangerous prerequisites for the outbreak of a border conflict,&#8221; it stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The border authority described the incident as an armed provocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 10, the Polish Border Guard said that seven people wearing &#8220;uniforms and masks&#8221; threw stones and fired slingshots from the Belarusian territory, using torches to blind Polish border guards.
