Former CEO \u0179mi\u0107er Nava\u017ey\u0142a\u016d, media manager Andrej Alaksandra\u016d, the company\u2019s deputy director from 2014 to 2018, and his girlfriend Iryna Z\u0142obina are also on trial, along with Le\u016d\u0161yna.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The journalists face numerous charges, including creation of an extremist group, high treason, and tax evasion. They are also charged with \u201caiding the foreign organization By_Help\u201d in \u201cactivities aimed at harming the national security of the Republic of Belarus.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Human rights defenders say that their persecution is politically motivated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 14, BPN.
