{"id":42613,"date":"2022-06-16T16:27:35","date_gmt":"2022-06-16T13:27:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/articles\/telegram-accounts-website-blacklisted-as-extremist\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","slug":"telegram-accounts-website-blacklisted-as-extremist","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/42613\/","title":{"rendered":"Telegram accounts, website blacklisted as extremist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>June 16, <span>BPN.<\/span><\/b> The groups of citizens associated&nbsp;with Telegram accounts <span>Or\u0161a 97 Percent<\/span> and <span>Navapo\u0142ack i Po\u0142ack 97<\/span>, as well as with the Belarusian Democratic Forces Forum website, have been branded&nbsp;\u201cextremist formations\u201d.<\/p>\n<p> The decision to that effect&nbsp;was taken by the Ministry of Internal Affairs on June 16, and the website was blacklisted by the Committee for the State Security (KGB) on June 9.<\/p>\n<p> On June 13, media quoted senior police official Hienad\u017a Kazakievi\u010d as saying that the interior ministry and the KGB decided to label over 60 citizen groups as &#8220;extremist formations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> According to the ministry, over 100 Belarusians were prosecuted for creating and participating in extremist groups, including on charges of committing sabotage on the railroads.<\/p>\n<p> Human rights activists say the extremist formations&nbsp;list now has over 70 entries, <span>BelaPAN<\/span> and other media organizations among them.<\/p>\n<p>The first Belarusian Democratic Forces Forum took place in Warsaw on May 16-17 on the initiative of former presidential candidate Valeryj Capka\u0142a, former presidential administration official Anatol Kota\u016d, political analyst D\u017amitryj Ba\u0142kuniec and other experts and activists.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 16, BPN.
