Trade between Iran and Belarus should reach $400 million in the next two years, Iran&#8217;s Tasnim reports, citing Mahdi Zeighami, head of the Iranian Trade Promotion Organization.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official linked this forecast to a free trade agreement signed between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as he commented on the 16th Belarusian-Iranian economic committee meeting held in Tehran on October 9.&nbsp;\ufeff<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The meeting participants agreed to expand cooperation in industry, agriculture, healthcare, pharma sector and transportation,&nbsp;the Belarusian industry ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minister Alaksandar Raho\u017enik, a co-chair of the committee, is expected to hold &#8220;a number of important meetings&#8221; at Iran&#8217;s healthcare ministry and ministry of roads and urban development, it added.&nbsp;\ufeff<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, trade between Belarus and Iran exceeded $100 million, rising threefold year on year, according to data from open sources.
