The prosecutor also asked for three-year terms for Volha Ha\u0142ubovi\u010d, an accountant, and Dzianis Kra\u016d\u010duk, a truck driver.<\/p>\n<p> Ziankovi\u010d&nbsp;signed a pre-trial agreement with investigators, pleaded guilty and helped&nbsp;investigators gather evidence against&nbsp;other defendants.<\/p>\n<p> Fiaduta pleaded guilty but denied &#8220;base motives.&#8221; Kastusio\u016d, who is suffering from cancer, pleaded not guilty. He said he had participated in conspirators\u2019 Zoom calls as a listener.<\/p>\n<p> Ha\u0142ubovi\u010d and Kra\u016d\u010duk, charged with gross violations of public order, pleaded guilty.<\/p>\n<p> The other suspects in the case were psychiatrist D\u017amitryj \u0160\u010dyhielski, former police official&nbsp;Ihar Makar, as well as Alaksandr Pierapie\u010dka, Pavie\u0142 Ku\u0142a\u017eanka and Vital Makaranka.<\/p>\n<p>The Minsk Regional Court has been hearing the case since July 29.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 30, BPN.&nbsp;Prosecutor Michai\u0142 Kavalo\u016d has demanded 12 years in prison&nbsp;for defendants in a high-profile coup d\u2019\u00e9tat case, the Viasna Human Rights Center reports.
