{"id":43559,"date":"2022-08-31T20:07:06","date_gmt":"2022-08-31T17:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/articles\/bypol-dismisses-terrorism-ruling-as-unlawful\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","slug":"bypol-dismisses-terrorism-ruling-as-unlawful","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/43559\/","title":{"rendered":"BYPOL dismisses terrorism ruling as unlawful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>August 31, <span>BPN.<\/span><\/b> The BYPOL association of former security officers&nbsp;has told <span>BPN<\/span> that it considers the \u201cterrorist organization\u201d label attached to it by the Alaksandr \u0141uka\u0161enka regime unlawful.<\/p>\n<p> It says it prefers not to comment on or react to \u201cthis, previous and similar statements\u201d as they \u201chave no effect at all\u201d on the association\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n<p> Media reported on August 31&nbsp;the Belarusian Supreme Court had recognized BYPOL and its constituent units Situational Analytical Center and Pieramoha Plan as a terrorist group.<\/p>\n<p> The Prosecutor General\u2019s Office says BYPOL\u2019s activities are connected with \u201cplanting radical ideas in society and instigating citizens to extremist activities to change the constitutional order of the Republic of Belarus by illegal means.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BYPOL was established following the August 2020 protests and mainly operates abroad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>August 31, BPN.
