The average selling rate dropped by 3.34 percent, from 2.6516 to 2.5631.<\/p>\n<p>Over the eight months of last year, the rubel rose by&nbsp;4.46 percent against the dollar at cash exchange outlets, from 2.6194 to 2.5026 rubels.
