They are on trial together with the company\u2019s former deputy CEO Andrej Alaksandra\u016d and his partner Iryna Z\u0142obina. The couple was arrested on January 12, 2021.<\/p>\n<p> The defendants are accused of creating an extremist group (Alaksandra\u016d, Le\u016d\u0161yna, Nava\u017ey\u0142a\u016d), treason (Alaksandra\u016d, Zlobina), tax evasion (Alaksandra\u016d, Nava\u017ey\u0142a\u016d), and organization of actions grossly disturbing public order (Alaksandra\u016d and Z\u0142obina, who paid protesters\u2019 fines). All four were recognized as political prisoners by human rights groups.<\/p>\n<p> The trial opened in the Minsk Regional Court on June 6. The case is being heard by Judge Via\u010das\u0142a\u016d Tulejka.<\/p>\n<p>On June 29, the trial was adjourned for at least two months because of forensics.
