Literature critic and political scientist Alaksandr Fiaduta and Belarusian Popular Front (BPF) chairman Ryhor Kastusio\u016d were given&nbsp;10 years&nbsp;each. Accountant Volha Ha\u0142ubovi\u010d and a truck driver, Dzianis Kra\u016d\u010duk, are to&nbsp;spend two-and-a-half years behind bars.<\/p>\n<p> Ziankovi\u010d, Fiaduta and Kastusio\u016d were found guilty of conspiracy to seize state power in an unconstitutional way.<\/p>\n<p> Ziankovi\u010d\u2019s other offenses included incitement to hatred and leading the \u201cextremist\u201d&nbsp;group, the judge ruled. The lawyer had signed a pre-trial agreement with investigators, pleaded guilty and helped investigators gather evidence against other defendants. This usually leads to a reduced sentence.<\/p>\n<p> Fiaduta pleaded guilty but denied \u201cbase motives.\u201d Kastusio\u016d, who is suffering from cancer, pleaded not guilty.
