Kastusio\u016d, who is suffering from cancer, pleaded not guilty. He told the court that he had only listened to Zoom calls involving other suspects.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Human rights defenders declared him political prisoner.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Other defendants in the case were also handed down lengthy prison terms: Belarusian-born US lawyer Juryj Ziankovi\u010d, 11 years in prison; and political scientist Alaksandr Fiaduta, 10 years. Accountant Volha Ha\u0142ubovi\u010d and a truck driver, Dzianis Kra\u016d\u010duk, were sentenced to two and a half years in prison.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 3, BPN.
