He has been charged with&nbsp;minor offences.<\/p>\n<p> Police in Minsk arrested a family of bloggers, Kaciaryna and Siarhiej \u010care\u0161ka. Pro-government Telegram channels said that they are accused of participating in protests.<\/p>\n<p> Law enforcers arrested Aleh Nahorny, supposedly for his social media comments in support of Ukraine, the Chry\u015bcijanskaja Vizija group reported. <\/p>\n<p> Trials<\/p>\n<p> The S\u0142onim District Court sentenced local resident Dzianis Vo\u016d\u010dak for insulting Alaksandr \u0141uka\u0161enka and handling personal data illegally, Viasna wrote.<\/p>\n<p> A judge found Natalla Lacko, a resident of \u017dabinka, Brest region, guilty of defamation and&nbsp;sentenced her to a year in prison and a fine, Viasna said.<\/p>\n<p> Maksim Dzivak, a resident of the Minsk region\u2019s Smalavi\u010dy district, was sentenced to three years of restricted freedom without referral to an open-type correctional facility, a type of home confinement, for participating in&nbsp;2020 protests, Viasna reported.<\/p>\n<p> Belarusian courts began hearing a number of criminal cases on November 10. In particular, political prisoner Andrej Raptunovi\u010d went on trial for planning to join Ukrainian troops. Retiree Ema \u015aciepulonak, faces two charges as part of the Zielcer case.&nbsp;Kry\u015bcina \u010carankova is charged with making social media posts against the war.&nbsp;U\u0142adzis\u0142a\u016d Plu\u0161\u010da\u016d, a rock musician, faces as many as three charges, Viasna said. <\/p>\n<p> A judge in Mahilo\u016d sentenced a locksmith to 15 days in jail for disseminating \u201cextremist\u201d content. Previosly, police-linked Telegram channels published a humiliating \u201cpenitential\u201d video of him, Viasna wrote.<\/p>\n<p> Law enforcers transferred Alaksiej Fiedarkievi\u010d, who was serving a restricted freedom sentence at&nbsp;an open-type correctional facility for insulting a policeman, to a penal colony, further limiting his freedom, Viasna reported. <\/p>\n<p> Other incidents<\/p>\n<p> The interior ministry&nbsp;labeled the <span>Plokhiye Novosti Belarus<\/span> (Bad News Belarus) community on VK extremist content.<\/p>\n<p> The interior ministry banned the popular patriotic chant&nbsp;\u201cLong live Belarus!\u201d as a Nazi salute.<\/p>\n<p> The Academy of Sciences sacked Institute of Linguistics Deputy Director Siarhiej Haranin after he had served a 10-day jail sentence, <span>Zerkalo <\/span>wrote. He said that inmates were mistreated at Minsk&#8217;s detention center.<\/p>\n<p>As of the morning of November 11, human rights defenders identified at least 1,423 political prisoners.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 11, BPN.
