All except CEO Ludmi\u0142a \u010cekina and editor-in-chief Maryna Zo\u0142atava were released from custody after agreeing to cooperate with the investigation, according to the Investigative Committee.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t One exception is Darja Dani\u0142ava, sentenced to 16 months in prison and released in the courtroom, as she had spent about as much time in jail pending trial.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Part of the team left Belarus in July 2021 to launch<span> Zerkalo.io<\/span>, a news website that largely follows in the footsteps of <span>Tut.by<\/span>. Belarus and Russia have blocked access to the website. On top of that, Belarus declared it extremist content.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t On June 14, 2022, the Minsk Economic Court designated Tut By Media as an extremist organization, banning its activities in Belarus.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t In October, the Committee for State Security (KGB) added Zo\u0142atava, \u010cekina, as well as former tut.by journalists Volha \u0141ojka and Alena Ta\u0142ka\u010dova to its list of &#8220;individuals and entities involved in terrorist activities.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>November 17, BPN.
