{"id":44606,"date":"2022-11-23T15:44:57","date_gmt":"2022-11-23T12:44:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/articles\/government-to-subsidize-housing-at-expense-of-external-debt-servicing\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","slug":"government-to-subsidize-housing-at-expense-of-external-debt-servicing","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/44606\/","title":{"rendered":"Government to subsidize housing at expense of external debt servicing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n <b>November 23, <span>BPN<\/span>. <\/b>The Belarusian government has cut expenses for servicing the external public debt by 154.4 million rubels (some $63.8 million), says Directive No. 806 adopted on November 21.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t It has entered into force on November 23 after its publication on the National Legal Internet Portal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The government instructed the finance ministry to spend 123.8 million rubels (about $51.1 million) for extending housing loan subsidies to individuals.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t In addition, Bie\u0142arusbank and Bie\u0142ahraprambank will receive 22.5 million rubels in compensation for the losses related to government-subsidized housing construction loans.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The remaining 8 million rubels is to be transferred to the Union State of Russia and Belarus to cover the needs of its standing committee.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t This is the second recent reduction of public debt service costs.
