She decided that Stara\u017eenka should pay his \u201cvictims\u201d 5,000 rubels (some $2,000) in damages.<\/p>\n<p> The center said the investigator resigned in protest in 2020 after&nbsp;he was tasked with pressing a case against a 16-year-old boy beaten by law enforcers.<\/p>\n<p> In April 2021, Stara\u017eenka was jailed for 15 days for \u201cunauthorized picketing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> On May 4, 2021 Alaksandr \u0141uka\u0161enka stripped him of his rank of senior reserve lieutenant of justice in the reserve.<\/p>\n<p>The former investigator was arrested on February 1 at&nbsp;a shopping mall in Minsk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>December 2, BPN.
