Poczobut has been held in detention for two years.<\/p>\n<p> The journalist and activist of the Union of Poles in Belarus was arrested in Hrodna on March 25, 2021. He is charged with inciting hatred and calling for sanctions against&nbsp;Belarus.<\/p>\n<p> Last autumn, Poczobut refused to petition Alaksandr \u0141uka\u0161enka for pardon. In October the Committee for State Security (KGB) put him on the list of \u201cpersons involved in terrorist activities.\u201d Of&nbsp;five defendants in the case,&nbsp;Poczobut is the only one&nbsp;to remain in custody.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 5, BPN.
