The plant had produced nitrogen and phosphorus crop nutrients &#8220;in insignificant quantities and for domestic consumers,&#8221; he noted.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t \u010carniako\u016d admitted difficulties with payments but stressed &#8220;flexible production schemes&#8221; that allowed the plant to adapt quickly to the new conditions and maintain its presence in Europe.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Exports of mineral fertilizers to Asia and South America remain unprofitable because of high delivery costs, he said, but noted that the plant started selling its products in Libya, China and other countries.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t In 2021, the European Union, United States, UK and Canada imposed sanctions on Belarusian potash giant Belaruskali. In January 2022, Yara, a Norwegian chemical company, suspended cooperation with Belaruskali because of Western sanctions.
