Belarusian authorities would not be able to control the situation, as they have been doing lately using terror and political persecution.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Belarusians are peaceful people, but Poland is prepared for anything from the Belarusian regime that rigged elections, usurped power and is persecuting dissenters, Duda stressed.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The recent conviction of journalist and Polish minority activist Andrzej Poczobut (Andrej Pa\u010dobut) to eight years in prison is a clear violation of all international norms and an obvious demonstration of the regime&#8217;s control over the judiciary, he said.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Poland strives for good relations with its neighbors, the Polish leader said, dismissing Russian and Belarusian propaganda claims that his country seeks to seize parts of Belarus and Ukraine.
