She said he may&nbsp;spend a total of 20 years in a high-security&nbsp;corrective colony.<\/p>\n<p> The trial began at a district court in Hrodna in late January. Hundar was charged with insulting prosecutor Ludmila Hierasimienka, who opposed him during his previous trial. The defendant, widely regarded as a political prisoner, refused to testify.<\/p>\n<p> On October 17, the Hrodna Regional Court delivered&nbsp;a guilty verdict to 12 defendants in the high-profile \u201cA\u016dtuchovi\u010d case.\u201d Hundar, an activist from Baranavi\u010dy, Brest region, was sentenced to 18 years in prison and a fine.<\/p>\n<p>The man, who doesn&#8217;t have a leg, first went on trial in May 2021 on violence charges.
