\n May 15, BPN<\/span>.<\/b> Several soldiers of the Belarusian Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski volunteer regiment fighting Russia in Ukraine were wounded last week, spokeswoman Kry\u015bcina Stankievi\u010d (call sign \u010cabor) told journalists on May 14.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t There were no casualties and the lives of the wounded soldiers are not in danger, she added.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t The Kalino\u016dski regiment’s Litvin battalion continued operations “in one of the hot spots of the front,” while the Vo\u0142at battalion was fighting Russian forces in Bakhmut, Stankievi\u010d said.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t Last week, the regiment’s representatives also met with Metropolitan Epiphanius, head of the autocephalous Orthodox Church of Ukraine, as well as political journalist Mark Feygin.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t D\u017amitryj \u0160\u010dyhielski, formerly a well-known psychiatrist currently representing the regiment’s political wing, participated in these meetings, the released videos show.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t Belarusian volunteers formed the Kastu\u015b Kalino\u016dski Regiment in March 2022, initially as a battalion. Its stated mission is to liberate Belarus by defending Ukraine.\n<\/p>\n

\n\t Belarusian investigators opened criminal cases against fighters associated with the regiment.\n<\/p>\n
