{"id":47046,"date":"2023-05-30T12:13:04","date_gmt":"2023-05-30T09:13:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/articles\/polands-ban-of-cargo-transport-to-affect-eu-businesses-belarus-customs-committee\/"},"modified":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T20:29:13","slug":"polands-ban-of-cargo-transport-to-affect-eu-businesses-belarus-customs-committee","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/47046\/","title":{"rendered":"Poland&#8217;s ban of cargo transport to affect EU businesses \u2013 Belarus\u2019 customs committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n <b>May 30, <span>BPN<\/span>.<\/b> Poland&#8217;s ban on trucks registered in Belarus and Russia &#8220;will further aggravate the situation of European business,&#8221; the Belarusian State Customs Committee said in its Telegram channel.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The ban will not affect transshipment operations but they will require more time and financial expenses, it added.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Belarus will try to ensure maximum clearance of transport and efficient customs controls in order to maintain trade, the customs committee said.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t On May 29, Poland announced that it will stop cargo transportation by trucks, trailers and semi-trailers registered in Belarus or Russia at its border checkpoints starting June 1.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Polish Interior Minister Mariusz Kami\u0144ski signed an ordinance to that effect after the Belarusian Supreme Court upheld a sentence against Andrej Pa\u010dobut, a journalist and Polish minority activist.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t The European Union (EU) has banned Belarusian carriers from moving cargo by road through its territory since April 2022 as part of sanctions against Moscow and Minsk.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t Belarus responded by barring EU-registered vehicles from its territory, with some exceptions such as transshipment to support international trade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>May 30, BPN.
