November 8, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Ukraine will terminate cooperation with Belarus and Russia in combating economic crimes, Taras Melnychuk, the government’s representative in the Ukrainian parliament, said in his Telegram channel on November 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ukraine is partly pulling out of the 1996 agreement by the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) “due to a fundamental change of circumstances,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A day earlier, Melnychuk said Ukraine terminated an agreement that required parties to arrest suspects fleeing criminal prosecution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier Minsk and Kyiv announced the termination of several joint agreements, including on search and rescue, border protection and information protection. Relations between the two countries have deteriorated after Minsk allowed Russian forces to march into Ukraine from Belarusian territory in February 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
