December 1, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The BySol solidarity foundation has raised \u20ac20,000 during the Christmas campaign Let’s Give Children a Miracle!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foundation is running the fundraiser on its website and says that the money will be sent to the families of political prisoners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BySol co-founder Andrej Stry\u017eak told Pozirk <\/em>that the campaign will continue until December 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The traditional fundraiser is held for the third time since 2021,” Stry\u017eak said. “We collect applications from the families of political prisoners on the ‘one application per child’ basis and have allocated \u20ac100 euros for each application.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that BySol does not buy gifts itself. “We believe that the family knows better what the child needs more: winter boots, vitamins, or a surprise gift under the Christmas tree.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In previous years, activists managed to raise \u20ac20,000\u2013\u20ac25,000 and meet an average of 200\u2013250 requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
