It is not easy. Nevertheless, I believe there are niches where we can work.&#8221;<br><br>Kazakhstan and Belarus have made serious progress in the IT sphere, and it can be &#8220;very lucrative&#8221; for businessmen from the two countries, he said.<br><br>&#8220;Over the last two years or so, more than 1,000 high-level specialists in logistics, IT and fintech have moved to Kazakhstan for work,&#8221; he added.<br><br>Speaking about investments, the ambassador said that about $50 million came from Kazakhstan to Belarus, &#8220;and the return investments (over the past 10 years) exceeded $1 billion.&#8221;<br><br>Belarusian high-tech specialists were among the most active protesters against the alleged fraud during the presidential election in 2020. For political and economic reasons, many of them later emigrated to safer locations, such as Kazakhstan.
