He also suggested increasing the term of obligatory job placement for medics from two to five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June, he signed an edict designed to boost healthcare efficiency, focusing on rural areas. This month, officials are due to report on the results of the healthcare system check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s pressure on healthcare will only cause more doctors to emigrate, Tarasienka noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Medical Solidarity Foundation, the Belye Khalaty (White Coats) initiative and other exiled groups are monitoring developments in Belarus to be able to plan for eventual reforms in healthcare, she added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 2, Pozirk.
