They organize the Days of the Union State, the Days of the Russian Culture in Belarus, the Days of Tatarstan in Belarus, the Days of the Pskov Province in Viciebsk, the Days of St Petersburg in Minsk, and similar events,&#8221; the writers&#8217; association said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarus employs many directors, artists, actors, and conductors from Russia. &#8220;Russian performers come on tours; theater and film productions and art exhibitions are organized; and more and more Russian books are available at the country&#8217;s stores and libraries.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian PEN identified Rossotrudnichestvo, Russia&#8217;s international humanitarian cooperation agency, as a major actor in promoting the country&#8217;s culture in Belarus. The so-called Russian Houses in Brest, Homiel, Viciebsk, and Minsk follow the agency&#8217;s agenda, according to the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Music venues in Belarus today primarily host concerts by ideologically approved Russian musicians who support military aggression and write patriotic songs.
