Vilnius and Warsaw will keep up joint efforts to hold Russia accountable for war crimes,&nbsp;<em>Delfi<\/em>&nbsp;reported citing Naus\u0117da as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also stressed the need to remind the world of the dangers that Russia poses to global security and called for stability and peace in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooperation is of key importance for regional and even global security, Polish President Andrzej Duda noted. He said his visits to Kyiv with Naus\u0117da helped him realize the importance of collaboration between countries that support Ukraine and control the strategically important Suwa\u0142ki Gap, a land link between Russia&#8217;s Kaliningrad and Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August, Poland started deploying more troops at its shared border with Belarus and strengthening the protection of the Suwalki Gap, citing the Wagner Group\u2019s presence in Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On August 28, interior ministers of Poland and the Baltic States agreed on criteria to close their borders with Belarus.
