January 9, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> “I will always support Belarus and those who live in a free Belarus in their efforts to achieve full freedom and independence,” said Polish President Andrzej Duda at a Christmas meeting with the Belarusian community in Warsaw, which he attended today together with \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I deeply believe that there will come a time when we will all enjoy freedom, full independence and sovereignty together. When we will be able to meet freely in Belarus and in Poland, and to cross our common border at any time without fear of imprisonment, detention or persecution,” Duda said, as quoted by his press office (translated from Russian).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that he always mentioned the situation in Belarus on a par with Ukraine at international events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Today, the judiciary is practically non-existent in Belarus,” he added. “We look for news about [imprisoned journalist] Andrzej Poczobut with great concern.
