Our proposal has been supported,&#8221; state media outlets quoted Interior Minister Ivan Kubrako\u016d as saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Everyone understands what these people have done, and the problem remains. Unfortunately, the fugitives abroad are trying to influence our citizens in various ways, especially the young people here. But we control the situation and conduct intelligence, including online, because it all happens remotely,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government plans to amnesty minors, pregnant women, women and single men with children under 18, retirees, Group 1 and 2 disabled persons, patients with active tuberculosis, cancer, and HIV, veterans of combat operations abroad, victims of the Chernobyl disaster, and privileged citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The plan is to release those punished for crimes that do not represent a significant public danger or minor offenses, if they have served at least a quarter of the term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some sentences may be reduced or annulled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the minister, the campaign would mark the 80th anniversary of Belarus&#8217; liberation from Nazi invaders.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 11, Pozirk.
