The musician was charged with spreading extremist content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 6, a local television station reported that police arrested Ilin and two other members of the Nizkiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They went on trial on January 8 to answer charges under the Code of Administrative Offenses. The outcome is also unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Belarus 4 Mogilev<\/em> claimed that the musicians left Belarus after 2020 and decided to come back. However, the Viasna Human Rights Center said that they actually lived in the country and frequently traveled abroad for gigs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an apparent effort to discredit the rockers, the TV station showed armed security officers rummaging through the musicians\u2019 messy apartments and their forced confessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TV station trumpeted the arrests as a big success for the government of Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 2008 in Mahilo\u016d in eastern Belarus, the band has five studio albums.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 12, Pozirk.
