In 2011, he was named the best foreign student in Poland. He is currently a PhD student and lives in Toru\u0144 where he runs his own business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ju\u0161kievi\u010d reportedly was helping victims of politically-motivated persecution in Belarus. He received a residence permit in 2008 and later applied for citizenship. During the review of his application, the Internal Security Agency described him as a threat to the national security of Poland but did not release any further details, <em>nowosci.com.pl<\/em> said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian opposition leader \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja has spoken out in his defense. Ju\u0161kievi\u010d can appeal the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marcin Czy\u017cniewski, chair of the Toru\u0144 City Council who used to teach Ju\u0161kievi\u010d at the university, described the case as &#8220;[Alaksandar] \u0141ukasenka&#8217;s regime provocation.&#8221; The official added that he requested the Kuyavian-Pomeranian voivodeship authorities to prevent Ju\u0161kievi\u010d\u2019s deportation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 14, Pozirk.
