Their overdue debt stood at 9.8 billion rubels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accounts receivable are a major challenge for the Belarusian economy, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka told officials in October. \u201cOn receivables, I said there should be no excuses that payments are not going through or that something else is happening,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Belarusian leader said the central bank and related agencies employed over 1,000 people who should start working together with the government to solve the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At a government meeting in March, \u0141uka\u0161enka tasked officials with reducing the hare of unprofitable enterprises in the public sector and sorting out debts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 16, Pozirk.
