The All-Belarusian People&#8217;s Assembly, a national political body that approves the main domestic and foreign policy directions, will convene soon afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government invited election officials from the CIS and lawmakers from the Collective Security Treaty Organization to observe the elections. However, it did not extend the invitation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe&#8217;s human rights office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The country has not held a single free and fair election according to OSCE standards since 1996.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 24, Pozirk.
