{"id":63522,"date":"2024-01-27T22:20:58","date_gmt":"2024-01-27T19:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/api.pozirk.online\/?post_type=articles&#038;p=63522"},"modified":"2026-03-10T12:05:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T12:05:06","slug":"opposition-to-lobby-new-polish-government-for-visa-facilitation","status":"publish","type":"articles","link":"https:\/\/pozirk.online\/en\/news\/63522\/","title":{"rendered":"Opposition to lobby new Polish government for visa facilitation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>January 27, <em>Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The Belarusian opposition plans to advocate for new support programs for Belarusians in Poland, Franak Via\u010dorka has told <em>Pozirk<\/em> in a comment on the suspension of the Poland Business Harbor (PBH) visa program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PHB suspension may be linked to its low level of success as only some 40 percent of recipients used these visas to relocate to Poland, Via\u010dorka, an aide to opposition leader \u015aviat\u0142ana Cichano\u016dskaja, said on Telegram. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second possible reason may have been last year&#8217;s visa fraud scheme when Polish consulates reportedly issued visas in Africa and Asia without proper procedures and checks, including for bribes, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 26, Polish Foreign Minister Rados\u0142aw Sikorski suspended the PBH program pending checks of companies and foreigners involved. The ministry was concerned about the possible misuse of visas issued under the program but said skilled foreign professionals seeking jobs in the Polish IT sector could apply for ordinary work visas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry also promised to facilitate visa procedures for businesspeople, especially in the sectors with high demand for skilled workers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 27, Pozirk.
