January 31, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Starting February 4, Belarusians can visit Iran without entry visas, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Alireza Bigdeli told<\/a> IRNA<\/em> on January 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visa waiver will also apply to tourists from 27 other countries, including Bahrain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Croatia, Cuba, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In mid-October, Iran’s Culture Minister Ezzatollah Zarghami advocated visa waiver for organized tourist groups from Iran and Belarus and resumption of direct flights between the two countries. His statements came on the eve of Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber\u2019s visit to Minsk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusians can visit 43 countries without entry visas. Iranians can stay in Belarus for up to 30 days without a visa if they arrive by air from the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are also required to produce return flight tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
