February 10, Pozirk<\/em>. <\/strong>A Russian military delegation headed by Deputy Defense Minister Aleksei Kuzmenkov arrived in Minsk on February 9, Valeryj Ravienka, head of the Belarusian defense ministry\u2019s international military cooperation department said on X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Russian official discussed joint programs and development of technical and logistics support systems with Belarusian Defense Minister Viktar Chrenin, he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In November 2021, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka and Vladimir Putin approved a new version of the military doctrine for the Union State of Russia and Belarus. Amendments dealt with factors that could negatively affect its security, including “falsification of history,” NATO military build-up, and hostile actions by international organizations and foreign countries towards Russian-Belarusian integration projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This spring, the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly is expected to approve Belarus’ updated military doctrine, which describes an attack on any allied state as an attack on Belarus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
