Belarusian cargo carriers are authorized to provide services via 14 foreign countries, the ministry added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Authorities negotiated a 40-percent rail transportation discount with Russia, including on the route to the port in St. Petersburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023, exports by rail rose by 15.4 percent year on year with Russia accounting for 83 percents of all exports, while export container transportation to China grew 1.6-fold, according to the official statistics. Passenger transportation grew by 7.8 percent year on year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belarusian cargo carriers have been banned from the European Union since April 2022 due to Western sanctions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 11, Pozirk.
