February 13, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Association of Belarusian Business Abroad and BYSOL Foundation have signed a memorandum of cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPartnership is one of ABBA\u2019s lines of work, and we are very happy when important initiatives unite around a common cause,\u201d ABBA said on Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe believe that our shared experience and mutual support will help us work even more effectively for the benefit of Belarusians and the free Belarus of the future,\u201d the post reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to ABBA, the cooperation between the two organizations began with a Christmas networking event, where more than \u20ac6,000 was raised through a charity auction (in Warsaw on December 21, 2023 \u2013 Pozirk<\/em>). The money was allocated to support political prisoners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow, together with BYSOL Foundation, we have launched a charity fundraiser for women behind bars. And on March 9, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, we will hold the joint event Spring Networking Business Ladies, for which we are preparing a special section in support of Belarusian women imprisoned for political reasons,\u201d the association said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABBA helps companies with Belarusian roots to relocate, open offices in democratic countries and grow. It was established in August 2021, and is led by Ja\u016dhien Bury, a former Belarusian Security Council adviser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BYSOL Foundation evacuates at-risk dissidents from Belarus and helps political prisoners and their families. It was co-founded by Andrej Stry\u017eak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
