They are charged with violating Article 361-1 Part 3, which prohibits membership in such groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the accused are in Belarus, while others are abroad and will be tried <em>in absentia<\/em> under a special procedure, the investigators said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Committee for State Security (KGB) declared the training program Personnel Reserve for New Belarus extremist on May 17, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opposition United Transitional Cabinet announced the program in November 2022. Talent training was to be carried out through internships in the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On November 16, 2023, the UTC announced the second round of admissions for the training of specialists in the field of public and local administration.
