February 15, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The Bie\u0142aja Ru\u015b party of Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka\u2019s supporters and the Russian ruling United Russia party have signed a cooperation agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

United Russia reports that the signing took place at the international anti-colonial forum For Freedom of Nations in Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe agreement envisages joint consultations on relevant issues between Russia and Belarus, the exchange of delegations at various levels, the exchange of lawmaking experience between the two parties, the groundwork for the comprehensive integration of Russian and Belarusian youth through joint events, and the integration development of the Union State of Russia and Belarus,\u201d the report reads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year, 12 political forces were disbanded in Belarus, including opposition and pro-government ones. Four parties loyal to the government have remained: the White Russia (Bie\u0142aja Ru\u015b), Communist Party of Belarus, Liberal Democratic Party, and Republican Party of Labor and Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 18, United Transitional Cabinet deputy chairman Pavie\u0142 \u0141atu\u0161ka, who leads the National Anti-Crisis Management, argued that the \u0141uka\u0161enka regime was recreating the lower house of the Russian parliament. He likened Bie\u0142aja Ru\u015b to United Russia, and the CPB, LDP, and RPLJ to the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, and A Just Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In doing so, the regime was preparing for the absorption of Belarus by Russia through parties, the politician said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to \u0141atu\u0161ka, \u201cthe total reproduction of Russia\u2019s party system in Belarus has a goal of uniting all these parties under one umbrella in the future, a \u2018union parliament’\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
