February 21, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka has left for Kazan, Russia, to attend the opening of the Games of the Future, an international phygital sports show, his press office reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are expected to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belarusian and Russian athletes have been banned from many tournaments, facing sanctions connected with the Russian war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In early December 2023, the International Olympic Committee reported that only eight Russian and three Belarusian passport holders were allowed to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics as neutrals, among the 4,600 athletes from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The games in Kazan will be held from February 21 to March 3 in 20 disciplines, including drone racing, robot combat and virtual cycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
