He was to install GPS trackers on energy facilities so that the Russian Armed Forces could strike them, cutting off the capital and part of the Kyiv region from power supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is reported that law enforcers arrested the man in the Sarny district near Rivne. He had the necessary equipment and a Ukrainian passport for a cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the prosecutor&#8217;s office, the accused was previously a member of armed formations of the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk people&#8217;s republics. In 2023, he was a member of Russia&#8217;s Wagner Group and fought against Ukraine near the city of Bakhmut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported the arrest of the Belarusian on January 15 after a &#8220;multi-stage special operation&#8221;. The SBU reportedly learned of &#8220;the aggressor&#8217;s plans while the enemy saboteur was still in Belarus.&#8221; Ukrainian agents documented his actions from crossing the border to arriving at the site of the planned sabotage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 27, Pozirk.
