March 6, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> Mahilo\u016d region officials have trained in organizing territorial troops as part of mobilization readiness training, Mogilovskie Vedomosti<\/em> said on Telegram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drill reportedly focused on “improving the coherence and training of local executive and administrative officials” in calling up territorial troops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officials from the Viciebsk region held a similar exercise on March 4. Employees of local executive committees, officials and commanders responsible for territorial troops personnel, military commissars, reserve and territorial troops officers participated in the training, the regional executive committee said on Telegram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Territorial troops are an auxiliary part of the Armed Forces called up in times of war or tense military and political situations. They are formed of persons who had military training and are currently in the reserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
