According to the Ministry of Justice, it is &#8220;disproportionate to the stated goal.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current law allows EU citizens and foreigners living in Estonia with long-term or permanent permits to vote in local polls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bill was assigning this right to foreigners from the countries that had proper agreements with Estonia, but revoking it from Russian and Belarusian nationals as their governments were aggressive towards Ukraine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 21, Pozirk.
