March 31, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> Belarusian authorities have arrested at least 12 people for commenting on the recent terrorist attack on a concert hall near Moscow, the Viasna Human Rights Center reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It mentioned the arrest of an elderly man who said that “Russian authorities could be behind the attack.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also documented the arrest of a young woman for asking why Belarus canceled mass events after the shooting, while Ukraine continued to hold them despite the war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is unclear what charges the two are facing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 29, a pro-government Telegram channel reported that criminal charges were brought against a Homiel women for “cynical comments” about the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia says 144 people were killed at Crocus City Hall on March 22. Seventy remain in hospitals in Moscow and the Moscow region, officials say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 23, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) said four suspected attackers were detained in the Briansk region, from where they were planning to cross into Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attackers reportedly killed three Belarusians, among others: security guard Vadzim Kulik, Alim Ka\u0161avara\u016d and an unnamed woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
