They agreed that the joint commission and the governments would &#8220;develop a plan of measures for joint work in the coming years.&#8221; Among other things, they were to discuss &#8220;joint cooperation projects in industry, agriculture, construction and the military-industrial complex.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minsk has been actively developing relations with Azerbaijan, a de facto adversary of Armenia, Belarus&#8217; ally in the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0141uka\u0161enka last visited Baku in April 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The foreign ministers of Belarus and Azerbaijan, Siarhiej Alejnik and Jeyhun Bayramov, discussed a &#8220;wide range&#8221; of bilateral and international issues at a meeting in Baku on May 15.
