May 25, Pozirk.<\/em><\/strong> The second criminal case in a month has been opened against \u0179micier Da\u0161kievi\u010d, former leader of the Ma\u0142ady Front patriotic youth organization, according to independent media reports that have been confirmed by the political prisoner’s wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On her Facebook page, Nasta Da\u0161kievi\u010d wrote: “Plus 411 Part 2 of the Belarusian Criminal Code. Heaven’s Chancellery, will you stop?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The article she mentioned carries a sentence of up to two years for malicious disobedience to prison administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this month, the wife said Da\u0161kievi\u010d was charged with violent disorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere were two months left until the end of the current sentence. I have no words, only endless and permanent pain,\u201d she said then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In January, Nasta said that she feared for \u0179micier’s health and life because he has been held incommunicado for more than six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
