June 19, Pozirk<\/em>.<\/strong> The stockpiles of unsold industrial goods increased by 7.8 percent since January 1 to 8.96 billion rubels ($2.8 billion) on June 1, the Belarusian National Statistical Committee (Bie\u0142stat) reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Industrial output rose by 8 percent in the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first five months of 2024, the inventories accounted for 65.7 percent of the average monthly output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In April, Alaksandar \u0141uka\u0161enka expressed concern about the build-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWarehouses are bursting. In 2023, inventories increased by 23 percent,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
